We learned this week that while some celebrities are slimming down -- get the dirt on Lindsay Lohan here and Carnie Wilson here -- one hot momma is bulking up and feels something like a beached whale.

How about that Obama? Martha tells us he hit the gym right after he won that big Tuesday election. Looks like he's trying to get in shape for his new job.

Got a muffin top you just can't get rid of? Maybe you don't need to -- just disguise it with this yummy shirt.

Most of us use wheels to get to work. But how many of us use them while we work? Hey, it's possible -- learn more here.

Let's talk fiber. Are you getting enough? Bethany recently spent one whole week getting just the right amount, and she'll teach you how right here.

Have you ever felt like you needed a vacation from your vacation? That's how I feel! Last week was spent hiking rugged, strenuous trails, using our bikes to get everywhere, and swimming in crystal clear lakes. I think I may have even came back fitter than when I left, despite a steady diet of take-out all week! If you're looking for new ways to get fit, check out some of this week's posts:

  • It's hard to get in your fiber while on vacation, but there's a new reason why you should try to eat enough every day: It's good for your lungs.
  • I climbed a lot of small peaks last week with some pretty steep drops, and never once did I consider jumping over them. Bev tells us about the adrenaline junkies who do in her post about rock jumping.

School starts for my kiddos tomorrow, which pretty much means summer is over for our family of four. Back to early bedtimes, homework routines, and all sorts of fun learning. If you are in the market for learning during this back-to-school season, you might want to study up on these great posts.

  • It's a good thing school is about to start, because most kids put on weight over the summer months. This post tells all.
